Reconnecting and Revitalizing the Plattsburgh Amtrak Train Station Area, a contributing component to the ongoing efforts of Plattsburgh Downtown Revitalization Initiatives, with the following activities:
Detailed survey of current land uses within 800 meters walking distance from the train station (including downtown); Development and Assessment of Redevelopment Potential Index (RPI) for each land parcel for the above study area.
The Economic Opportunities and Employment Challenges in the North Country, with support from the North Country Workforce Development Board
with student researchers: Alex Mercado, Lyndsie Danks
Explores the current employment situation of the manufacturing industries in the North Country Region of upstate New York; Key informant interviews for data collection and statistical analysis; Review of other employment model internationally; Challenges for both the employers and employees are identified, and potential solutions are proposed for overcoming these hurdles and improve the efficiency in employment processes for the North Country
